This is how I know my kid learn how to count:

Mom: Come pom-pom (bathe)
(no kid)
Mom: Come now. 1,2... (yeah, I count to give them chance)
Kid: Twee, For, Fi (running to the bathroom).

They are sooo cute when learning how to talk yeah? But when can talk real well... hmmm no peace in the home. Joys of motherhood. Heheh

Be patient. And I can tell you it works. Somone told me that a kids rain is like a sponge and everything is recorded even through it doesn't come out right yet.

I also use another trick - to count the number of steps as I go down or up with my daughter to / and from our bedroom.

Hahah...that's too cute for words!!

Like Adam, I too taught my eldest daughter how to count by counting the steps everytime we went up and down the stairs. Later we "graduated" to counting cars in the street, and birds in the sky.

Now we're trying the process with our 2nd daughter too.

Love moments like that with my daughters.

Hahahahaha!!! That was good. Eh, no need to teach him anymore-lah. He's more advanced than that :)
